If the staff is willing to go with Hoyer over him or Petty they shouldn't be on the roster. Move on from the QB's who cant play.

Hoyer wouldn't automatically get the nod. He'd have to compete.

I agree though, if Hoyer beats them out they should get the boot

Btw, here's some interesting information

ESPN did a survey where they asked beat writers for every team about draft responsibilities.

When it comes to drafting, the Jets are the only team in the division where our GM has the final say on who gets drafted. In Miami and New England, the HC gets the final say. In Buffalo it's basically a roundtable where the GM makes pitches and arguments, but ultimately the owners get their way.

So it's really all on Maccagnan.

Truthfully though, with all the shakeups, I have no idea who we'd be drafting. I think Floyd will be gone and so will Raglad and even Lynch will be gone. I think it'll be a surprise to all of us.

The Jets should trade down if possible. If you're going to take Coleman, I don't see why you don't take Fuller or Treadwell who will both likely be available still at 20
