There is no best country IMO, just depends on the person. Get in where u fit in.
What does that mean? For a country that prides itself on being about the land of opportunity, the fact that the US has such a shytty rating in social mobility and also high rates of poverty are noteworthy.
Its done quite a bit actually.
I know people hate to admit it, but when it comes to ensuring safety abroad of citizens say in times of war, or conflict the US Military puts in work to help protect its citizens.
Even further, when we look at the access US companies have to resources abroad that end up on your dinner table or on your back, a lot of that is secured through trade which is protected by US forces ultimately.
The world is an intricate clock that works in the US's favor.
What does that mean?
I mean really.
1. NOT EVERYONE can "rise up"
2. A LOT of people rise up
3. there are 300MM+ americans...take those statistics with a grain of salt.
:haveaseat: c00n.Someone always complaining they're better then the USA but the reality of it all is no other country is better then the USA. Nothing to see here. How many articles do you see where people have to make up lists saying USA is better then another country. You don't see them cause everyone already knows we're better. No point in
And we're going to forget about the countries we've taken over and left worse than they were before?
All this money is put into military but yet the US is still poorly rated in other major categories.
here we go....Sounds like you're making excuses. Especially when we know the significant effects of white supremacy and overall discrimination in the US and the impact it has on social mobility.
America is safe compared to other countries, and there are opportunities, but I can never see myself having any semblance of pride as an American or in this country because of this. Let alone the currently overzealous and destructive military industrial complex and it's need to oversee the affairs of the world under the guise of a worldly "overseer/father figure" position.
Stay focused here. What are we takling about?
Foreign policy in times of war or how the US compares to other nations?
COMPARED to other Nations, the US is NOT that bad.
It really isn't.
There are 300MM+ people, a shyt load of land, REALLY diverse population, relatively stable political structure, no serious geographic threats, etc.
We're not perfect. No one said we were...but some of these criticisms are pretty ridiculous.
Yeah...some stuff is different elsewhere...but at what cost? Cause I know she's paying out the ass in taxes.

It really is the land of the opportunity though. I personally know people that lived in London and other parts of the world and they couldn't find a job worth shyt. All their stories were the same, you basically have to be a local native to find a decent job in those parts of the world. America is one of the few places where you can come here with basically nothing and build something in a few years. I've personally seen it happen.
America does have it faults and I won't contest that. It's when you see what's going on in the rest of the world that makes you appreciate it. Look up some of the shyt that goes on in North Korea if you think America is so bad.

Black Americans...how can you be proud of a country that was built off of the destruction, enslavement, and the dehumanization of your/our people for centuries?

And shyt, any person of color that doesn't look at America as "land of the free" and isn't a knee jerk patriot is looked at like a damn terrorist. What the hell is that all about? No one is going to agree with EVERYTHING this country does, but if you don't salute the flag, shop at Wal-Mart, and blindly agree and comply with everything about the government (despite it's corruption), the justice system (despite it's injustices past and present), it's economy (despite it's continuing debts and issues with jobs), and other things...White Americans (and other Americans by default) see you as a threat...like there is NO middle ground whatsoever and that's dangerous.
