What exactly is wrong with a guy trying to get a girl's attention? Isn't that kinda how this mating thing works? We gonna act like women don't wear certain clothing or walk a certain way in order to garner attention? There is nothing wrong with a guy approaching a women/trying to get her attention. That's pretty accurate. Just last week this guy was harrassing me for my number. I literally had to take a detour home because I was afraid he'd follow me.

On Saturday, a cab dropped me off on the corner and as I was walking home these guys pulled up my dress and groped my ass. All I could croak out was a "what the fukk?!". As soon as I turned the corner I ran home.

I personally don't approach women in on the street as that's not my style, but I won't knock dudes who do use that as their style.

What's the difference between a man approaching in the street and in the mall if these feminists eventually feel unsafe there too. We're going to ban approaches there too? Ban them at Burger King and all other restaurants too?

Again cant see this video right now but from what I remember most of it was during the day time. Come on family. I grew up in NYC. The same old men were at the Jamaica Ave dollar van/bus terminal every time I went there running girls down. Are there brehs who do it respectfully and well? Sure, but they probably are able to pick up on cues/energy and don't give off a dusty vibe. Nowhere did I say any dude approaching a woman is on some simp or dusty shyt, come on guy.

Problem is....the Harassment law is very broad in NYS :

N.Y. Penal Law § 240.26 - Harassment in the second degree

A person is guilty of harassment in the second degree when, with intent to harass, annoy or alarm another follows a person in or about a public place or places; or (3) He or she engages in a course of conduct or repeatedly commits acts which alarm or seriously annoy such other person and which serve no legitimate purpose. Subdivisions two and three of this section shall not apply to activities regulated by the national labor relations act, as amended, the railway labor act, as amended, or the federal employment labor management act, as amended. Harassment in the second degree is a violation.

It's all based on interpretation of "annoy" and "alarm" ...technically all of the men could have been arrested for a misdemeanor according to sub catagory 1.

Misdemeanor's in NYS carry a maximum of up to 1 year in a city jail
