No idea why people are shocked Wilder didn’t stick with the jabbing game plan …nikkas been saying he needed a jab YEARS ago when he was struggle boxing against Gerald Washington…he was too late in the game to change who he is . When you get hit all that training shyt goes out the window .

Fury already adjusted to it in the second round anyway .

Outstanding clash and fight. Wilder camp gave him a solid strategy to start, but as the rounds progressed, it just fell to the side, and he went back to his bread and butter which wasn't enough. You got to admire the heart though

Honestly, Wilder looked out of it before the fight even started. His body was going through the motions but he seemed like he was totally somewhere else mentally in that 1st round. Doesn't take away from the heart he displayed but it's like he knew he was about to hold that L.

I felt the same way. His eyes said he really didn’t want to be in there. Didn’t have the same urgency or energy from previous fights.

Deontay had a strategy of going to the body to set up the head and abandoned it after 2 rounds. Never faked the right hook at all. No set up for the hook aside from the single jab. Only one uppercut while they were clinched up.

He absolutely showed a ton of heart, but he also took an unnecessary beating that could have been mitigated by incorporating some basic boxing combinations, set ups, and feints. Idk if he continues fighting after this, but I don't see him reaching the summit again until he addresses his technical skills.

He abandoned it because that amateur hour lunging body jab got him set up to eat a smooth left, uppercut, or get swung onto the ropes. He doesn't have the defense or footwork to rely on that kind of attack against a guy like Fury Wilder's body attack is what NOT to do

Anyone who has a problem with How Fury leans on his opponents and puts his weight on them must not have actually boxed before. You use whatever you can to tire your opponent. Why wouldn’t you want to tire down someone as strong as wilder. Wilder smaller, but even Fury admitted the man is the strongest heavyweight. I rooted for Wilder by the way. But still. Wilder was too tired, so he stood in place when that happened

I'm very disappointed in Wilder. Being a sore loser brehs.....he just walk out the ring and not say anythingi give Fury his props for winner and say he was the better boxer!

This Fight was a result of Wilder being a sore loser for the 2nd fight where he also got thoroughly beaten

I want to see him agaisnt Usky, a figther who can actually move but Fury at that weight is going to be too much.
