Fury was winning but it was still competitive. Thats what I call a good fight.

Deontay had a strategy of going to the body to set up the head and abandoned it after 2 rounds. Never faked the right hook at all. No set up for the hook aside from the single jab. Only one uppercut while they were clinched up.

He absolutely showed a ton of heart, but he also took an unnecessary beating that could have been mitigated by incorporating some basic boxing combinations, set ups, and feints. Idk if he continues fighting after this, but I don't see him reaching the summit again until he addresses his technical skills.

Wilder had a perfect game plan and executed well in the 1st and really 1st quarter of the fight. After Fury caught him and leaned on him, it went south…quick. Wilder gets too sloppy. He should run the tape of this back and really listen to Lennox or bring him into his camp.

Honestly, Wilder looked out of it before the fight even started. His body was going through the motions but he seemed like he was totally somewhere else mentally in that 1st round. Doesn't take away from the heart he displayed but it's like he knew he was about to hold that L.

Wilder new team taught him nothing. Came in to heavy and hoped to land the right which he did and still lost

is that really a bad gameplan? He caught him.. knocked him down twice.. Fury survived. That's the best Wilder could have hoped for tbh

I don't even think Wilder'a cardio is an issue I just don't think any human being can sustain that style of throwing punches that hard for more than 4-5 rounds. Amazing fight.

Wilder said he wanted to go out on his shield and he lived by his wordsThis was a great fight between two really good fighters. This fight was all about will. Fury still didn't look that great to me skillwise. LenOx woulda washed both of these guys easily.
