I'm very disappointed in Wilder. Being a sore loser brehs.....he just walk out the ring and not say anything, give Fury his props for winner and say he was the better boxer! :smh:
mans on his way straight to the hospital :dead: cut him some slack his eardrums probably ruptured

:stopitslime:@ the people here saying an olympian and former champ can't box.

At that level it’s different breh, wilder
- kept his hands down
- stayed in front of fury
- no follow ups after landing the right
- couldn’t counter after evading
- no solid combinations
- Corner told him to pivot off the ropes but didn’t

I think a lot of brehs are using IQ & boxing interchangeably.

Deontay had a strategy of going to the body to set up the head and abandoned it after 2 rounds. Never faked the right hook at all. No set up for the hook aside from the single jab. Only one uppercut while they were clinched up.

He absolutely showed a ton of heart, but he also took an unnecessary beating that could have been mitigated by incorporating some basic boxing combinations, set ups, and feints. Idk if he continues fighting after this, but I don't see him reaching the summit again until he addresses his technical skills.

Fury can corner and lean on Wilder not because he's faster than him, but because Wilder has horrible footwork, and maybe even worse ring awareness on which direction to move.

Speed < know-how. Fury knows how to cut off the ring. Wilder is always his food.
Wilder footwork isn't horrible. One of the things about him is in an instant, his footwork comes together and he explodes with that damn right out of nowhere. We saw that when he fought the Haitian nikka who also was a better boxer than Wilder.

The level of skill that Fury has is top notch. Fury not even that talented with speed, power, or agility. He's just skilled af, big af and smart af. His footwork is solid for his size but it's not amazing. He's like Tim Duncan. Just fundamentally sound like a mfer.
