That’s because a lot of MMA fans have little brother syndrome when comes to boxing and actively root for its downfall.
It’s weird, I guess you don’t see NBA fans praying for the downfall of NFL or vice versa as a common thing, this shyt is only in combat sports and mostly MMA fans.

Dana White and other MMA figures constantly talking about boxing in a negative tone makes it even more prevalent cause that’s the example they see.

This is a BOXING THREAD OF A BOXING MATCH. At no point did I mention any boxer coming to MMA. There is zero incentive of a top-notch boxer (specifically male) to come into MMA for any reason especially not financially.
