Okay well good for you.....

I'm happy I don't have to wake up every morning and "tame" my hair.

I'm not biracial that is some rumour @marcuz started. I'm just lightskinned that is all. I have two black parents. And when have I ever attacked black men and especially black people, I only go after those who blindly follow white supremacy.
It is what it is. I agree with what you said and even said I worded what I meant wrong. It's nice that you can wake up like that, I'm happy for you.I know

oh yeah, like what? and what have i been called out on?he resorts to this lie when he gets called out
she had her pic as her av for the longest. then she changed it when i called her out on being a damn near cac, trying to include herself in black issues@Tae how would you describe your hair texture, if you don't mind?

where our check at?
But not all black hair is the same. Women with curly hair (like me and you) can get away with the messy Joan Clayton look. It's considered hippie, natural, bohemian. Our hair textures have since cornered the natural hair market. We don't receive the same back lash as our kinkier 4 hair grade sisters.I could care less who made the rules I care that too many people feel that the "rules" are inherent and appropriate.
Our hair is not inherently messy and it is sad that too many people feel as though it is appropriate for us to live by a different standard for something that is controlled by our DNA.
It is one thing to say it is sad we have to live by a different standard, it is another to say we have to live by that standard becuase our hair looks a mess unless we tame it.
why are you nikkas complaining now? this is what happens when you try claim everything under the sun as black
I only ask because it seems like the people who always get upset and defensive when people say "wash and gos don't work on 4c hair" are people who don't have it. Like they are almost too defensive or sensitive, meanwhile it is what it is. I could let my hair shrink up or go to bed without twisting or putting my hair up, but it's not good for my hair. I can't do everything other textures can. My hair will matt and tangle up. It needs to be stretched and bound in twists or braids or threading.@Tae how would you describe your hair texture, if you don't mind?
Thing is she's half Fijian, or "half ethnic" not even half black.Yeah black people are "inclusive and white people are not" or black people (men mostly) are equal opportunity lovers are double edged swords. Besides black people come in all "shapes, colors, textures." You'd think most, if not many, were octoroons. When New Orleans was evacuated during Katrina, I counted like 25 redbones from the footage at the Super Dome and rescue missions. If you didnt know any better you thought you were looking at Haiti during the Earthquake or some Unicef/UN camp in Africa.
Kinda glad the model shut it down by stating she has black ancestry though. BlackTwitter is annoying af. They should be bringing more attention to the fact that there are 400 young poor black/brown sitting in Riker's Island awaiting trial for bullshyt ass charges like driving with a suspended license.
Fijans like others in Oceania are also melanin dominate people. The originals at least.Thing is she's half Fijian, or "half ethnic" not even half black.
Do Fijians wear Senegalese twists? People keep reaching. The point Black Twitter is making still standsFijans like others in Oceania are also melanin dominate people. The originals at least.
