with alts it’s tough bcuz even tho there are warning signs a lot of these projects are relatively new so it’s still not easy to gauge their longevity even if they pass all the “tests”...as mentioned ANT/NEO was china’s “golden boy”...had government backing/support and was arguably “crypto of the year” in 2017 as it ran from under $0.12 to over $180...ffwd a few years and it’s hardly being talked about...same thing with ICX which was dubbed the “korean ethereum” or some shyt and had a partnership with samsung...again they got a little bit of a pump during this cycle but hardly anyone is really talking about them outside of that

Y’all keep bringing up 2017 and forget there was a major bull run early in the year then everything came down and stagnated before it all skyrocketed EOY
Will these alts be around years from now? Maybe not, but there is still a lot of money to be made in them.
Speaking of 2017, if u woulda took all your alt profits and put it all in BTC right away you woulda watched all your profits drop as BTC went from almost 20k to under 4K.
