How the fukk do you have prime Lebron, Wade, and Bosh and go 2 for 4 in the finals?:hhh:......that alone shoulda gotten his ass fired.
Wade was good but that wasn’t prime Wade. His knees was killing him and he was still afraid to shoot 3’s at that point. He said he damn near retired from the pain from his knees at that point if I’m not mistaken

Not just that, but there’s almost no appeal to this roster and no cap space anyway. They’re gonna have to tank sooner or later. The longer they fight it, the longer they’ll be treadmill status. This is a 35-40 win team at best with maybe 2 players who could realistically make big improvements. Why waste the time on that sort of roster?
you guys keep saying this but tanking has worked for nobody. Even the team ya'll love to prop up as the poster for tanking has advanced no further in the playoffs than we have the last 3-4 years. There's nothing wrong with continuing to develop internally and biding your time.

We're 3 years away from being 3 years away. Lord help us if we sign some dumb contracts next year.

Paying Hassan was not the problem. Our coach treating him like Joel Anthony by refusing to play him, run sets for him, and blaming him for his own faults until he stopped playing hard because he doesn’t care anymore is the problem. The KO, JJ, and Waiters deals though :snoop:. KO is a guy who’s skill set is valuable on any team but we paid him like a star and not a role player :snoop:

Maybe... I dont think the new nba is built for him. Hassan is a solid third best player on your team, but you can't build a team in 2019 around a guy who can't shoot, pass or consistently dominate people in the post. Capela is a younger springier Hassan and still got run off the court in the playoffs.

edit: Hassan is supposed to be an Ibaka type but we signed him thinking he was going to be like kawhi.

Whiteside is a teams 3rd best player at best but we paid him like a #1 because we were desperate. That made him further believe he was a #1 and started acting like he can do as he pleases and not be checked like he was a LeBron level player. Prompting Spo to reel him in. But yes we grossly overpaid Hassan.

Olynyk's contact isn't top level pay. We paid him like an average player in his prime. Believe it or not $12M is what average tier players in the league are getting in long term deals these days. Just look around the league at players making $11M to $15M per year and you'll realize you've never heard of these cats. I live in Atlanta. Look up Kent Bazemore. I'm sure you're like "who?" Well the mofo is making $17M per year with the Hawks. Plenty more scrubs like him getting paid...
We're in the wrong business,brehs:sadcam:

Dion and James Johnson's contracts were mistakes. I like JJ and I'm not that mad at the per year salary ($14M per) but we should not have gone more than 2 years on those contracts since we knew damn well these 2 were stop-gap players until Bustise gets his head out of his ass and is able to show he was worth the pre-draft hype and J-Rich is able to take over at the SG spot full-time
