Trade piece, I expected him to opt in, we shall see with Hassan...
Basically what I was alluding to in my post above. Financially there’s no incentive to opt in before the draft.
When do any of our players develop properly on offense? The last heat player to join the team as a rookie or close to it and developed into a stud on offense was Wade. This isn’t a franchise that’s good at developing young or raw players. The only time since the start of the 2006-07 season where this team was good on offense was when LeBron was in town. That's cool and all but lets bring it back to basketball, after 3-4 years, he still doesnt have a go to post move, cant pass out of the double dribble and is still a knucklehead on and off the court, and he is our highest paid player, all that other shyt sounds cool. But for our Max player the past 2-3 years, he has been ass and was a disaster against the 6ers in the playoffs.
This is what happens when a coach destroys a players love for the game. Hassan didn't come into the league like this. There was a point where Hassan was shooting over 80% from the free throw line. Hitting mid range shots like khawi. Showing crazy progress in a very short time. That's cool and all but lets bring it back to basketball, after 3-4 years, he still doesnt have a go to post move, cant pass out of the double dribble and is still a knucklehead on and off the court, and he is our highest paid player, all that other shyt sounds cool. Hassan played the best basketball of his career under spo tho . I agree Spo put him in the dog house too much but he didn't do shyt with the kings and was playing in lebanon. This is what happens when a coach destroys a players love for the game. But what's the point of putting your blood, sweat, and tears into something when you know it's gonna be for nothing?.....it didn't didn't matter how much Hassan improved. Spo made up his mind from the beginning that he was never gonna give him a fair chance. After a while Hassan just stopped caring and focusing on life off the basketball court. This type of shyt happens all over the league. Coaches bully a certain player and make em the scapegoat for all of their short comings. I know what I seen. Hassan never stood a chance. Hassan used to be one of the most passionate players in the league. Now he's just out there collecting that paycheck. Spo wanted him to play his position and he got his wish.....as long as spo is coach of the team, I'm not getting my hopes up anymore. Doesn't matter who we have. We're always gonna be a run of the mill team who flirts with the playoffs but still not good enough to compete with the best. Because spo is a sensitive little bytch who will always put his ego over the success of the team. Just the fact that riley hasn't fired him yet tells me riley is washed up too. He lost his balls. Old riley woulda fired spo a long time ago. It's hard to shyt on players for showing no growth when we have a coach who's never shown any growth in his whole career. Spo been a fraud from today 1.
See, I told myself I wouldn't get stressed over this bullshyt anymore. This bytch ass clown always get me triggered
We’re talking about a coach who took 2 whole seasons with 2 finals runs along the way and another offseason to figure out how to properly utilize LeBron’s skill set, who after 11 years still can’t figure out how to develop a player and won’t step out of his comfort zone and differ from what he is convinced works. The rotation and substitution patterns alone are proof. It’s just not worth getting invested as long as he’s on the sidelines, much like John Harbaugh with the Ravens. Some coaches clearly serve as an anchor and get immunity from any scrutiny for some reason. I know it’s ridiculous to say, but long term for this franchise, it almost would’ve been better if LeBron didn’t have that game 6 in Boston. No way he’d have kept his job if they lost that game. This is what happens when a coach destroys a players love for the game. Hassan didn't come into the league like this. How the fukk do you have prime Lebron, Wade, and Bosh and go 2 for 4 in the finals?......that alone shoulda gotten his ass fired. I won’t hold 2014 on him since clearly none of the players but James showed up, but he’s the reason we lost in 2011 for sure. He was out there running an 8 man rotation even with our only big man off the bench just coming off a six month absence with a lisfranc foot injury and our only wing off the bench having two broken thumbs. Meanwhile bibby and Anthony were starting and the guy who won the 3 point shootout with Paul Pierce and Ray Allen in it with him spent the whole series glued to the bench. That shyt still gets me mad. He let the team play at best 4 on 5 offensively and usually 3 on 5 all finals long while half the time being 4 on 5 defensively too.How the fukk do you have prime Lebron, Wade, and Bosh and go 2 for 4 in the finals?......that alone shoulda gotten his ass fired.
Dallas more or less had the green light to double him at all times with or without the ball since we had so many people in the rotation who didn’t have to be guarded, even though there were a couple guys on the bench who could have helped. It’s not like he was bricking everything in sight or suddenly lost his handle. Coaching is where we lost that series. They also more or less were able to double Wade as well in crunch time with no consequence too. Go back and watch games 2-6 sometime. They all started and unfolded the exact same way for the most part. That’s on coaching.Lebron didn't choke 2011?
