We got Battier the walking talking defensive analytics calculator on the staff and you think we aren't using stuff like this?

My problem is that they are using all those complicated formulas to determine things you can tell just by watching the player and being knowledgeable about basketball. I could of told you about the same thing without performing a regression analysis.

analytics helps because computers work so much faster than humans.
I agree with you that if someone is just drafting from a list like this, then they are not going to do well. But ideally you would get a list like this and it might flag someone for evaluation that might have slipped through the net otherwise.

Whiteside a different kinda cat who knows with him
Dude out here living his best life. He keeps his circle small and he always gives back to the community. He's really on some family first shyt. He seems more focused on investing and starting up businesses now. Can't even be mad at it. Playing under Spo made him lose his passion for the game. He's posted a few things on nipsey since he passed too. Seems like he shares that same mindset of keeping your circle tight and building with your people. That's why he always used to do those "snake check" videos. It's not surprising Hassan could never fit in with the heat. Miami still has that old school mentality of "shut up and dribble"....and Hassan is never gonna be that guy. He's always gonna speak up and voice his opinion. And an insecure guy like Spo can't handle that.

The heat organization really needs to get off the bullshyt already. The old ways aren't gonna fly anymore....players are starting to push back. We already seen how khawi exposed the spurs for their bullshyt. Nobody's trying to play for an organization who runs their team like a bootcamp. The players are starting to look after themselves and you can't blame em. Just look what happened to KD. After this incident you're about to see a major power shift in the league. The heat gotta bring in some fresh faces to the front office and reinvent themselves. But I already know they're too prideful to do that. :aicmon:

If the raptors win tonight Delon and Dorell Wright will become the first set of brothers to both win an nba championship... without playing any minutes :whoo: The ultimate flex/finesse.

That's cool and all but lets bring it back to basketball, after 3-4 years, he still doesnt have a go to post move, cant pass out of the double dribble and is still a knucklehead on and off the court, and he is our highest paid player, all that other shyt sounds cool. But for our Max player the past 2-3 years, he has been ass and was a disaster against the 6ers in the playoffs. :yeshrug:

This is all it comes down to for me. I had no problem paying him but he hasn't added anything to his game since then. All organizations acquiesce to star players to some degree, Whiteside aint a star though.

You can argue DeAndre Jordan is a better version of hassan and he doesn't even start for the knicks:francis:. If you can't switch or space the floor or create your own shot you're in trouble.
