OKC knows damn well they don't wanna be stuck with the tax bill for 3 years. If they wanna play hard ball let them. I dint want Riley to give up any picks in this deal. We must take picks . Besides I only wanted this the picks out of the deal in case Beal deal was an option
shyt sounds like a bad marriage
If he doesn't sign the extension, I hope we can scoop him up this offseasonWell Beal is definitely going to reject the wizards extension offer later this month but we don’t have the assets to get him. I looked at that wall contract and it’s bad but I think other teams would deal with it too
how do we know this? Has he suggested that he's unhappy there? I'm still puzzled as to why theyd wanna trade himWell Beal is definitely going to reject the wizards extension offer later this month but we don’t have the assets to get him. I dint think Miami takes Paul without picks for a few reasons:Thunder aren't worried about any tax bill or anything with CP3, nobody on the team that's in the plans needs to be paid until his deal is expiring, & their just under $5m over the tax line right now with a year to get under.
CP3 & the team both would prefer him to be somewhere else but the Thunder aren't/don't have to be in any real rush. CP3 is the one on the back end of his career so if he really, really wants out bad enough he'll have to be the one to play nice to help make it happen.
Still think he ends up in Miami at some point once Riley figures out that getting Beal is pretty much impossible.
So, for those asking the question: Why did Butler choose to force a sign-and-trade transaction to the Heat this summer, with seemingly better win-now options in the Clippers, Lakers, Rockets and 76ers out there? It’s important to understand the competitive mentality Butler approaches life with.
While Butler might have been able to win more games this upcoming season with one of his other free agent options, the Heat’s mantra of being “the hardest-working, best-conditioned, most professional, unselfish, toughest, nastiest, most disliked team in the NBA” aligned with Butler’s personality.
A league source said Butler left his June 30 meeting with the Heat at AmericanAirlines Arena convinced Miami was the right fit for him because of its proven track record of putting winning ahead of everything else. Butler, who turns 30 in September, had other free agent meetings scheduled, but they were quickly canceled once he met with the Heat on the first day of free agent negotiations.

I cant wait to see him get back to 2017/2018 JJ
I expect Dion to come on strong too if we keep him. He seems motivated.
If they can give us good minutes which will allow Spoelstra to keep Jimmy fresh 'til 4th quarter of games...watch out!
Who are the big men left on our roster aside from Bam Adebayo?
I keep forgetting we kept Olynyk.Him, meyers leonard and......olynyk if you wanna count him as a big man lol
