Can someone explain what Jericho's look is supposed to be these days? He's looking like a male stripper cosplaying as Alice Cooper or something.

That's a good question. An over the hill rock star with a little anime-like over the top "american" characterization? idk :pachaha:

My new belief is Kota beats Tana and we get to Kenny/Kota that way.

That actually sounds like a damn good story.

The more I think about it, there really is no place for Naito right now. His shot was January to September 2018 so they could transition to Kenny vs Kota more smoothly. I really, really hope Uncle Jun pulls some strings for the February super show and gets an interpromotional deal with New Japan, and they send Naito there. What's more Ingobernable than a star invading another promotion? :feedme:

Dude elicits the same reaction from me as I've had to Randy Orton for most of his career.

".....Him? :ld:"

To his credit, he seemed to handle crowd heat well at the Long Beach show and can turn on the unlikeability when he needs to.:manny:

Jay White is just kinda there for me. It's like, I don't mind him, and he's got some positives, but he's not someone that I look at and see undeniable star quality in either. I guess this match is where homie either gonna show us he got it or confirm that he doesn't.

Goto vs Ibushi confirmed, it's my pick for MOTN. Kota should win too.

The only thing that could prevent it from being MOTN is that you just can't trust Gedo to do right by Goto. Also, if the plan is still to build an Omega/Ibushi program neither a loss nor a win really does anything for Ibushi here.

But that's probably part of the plan. :gedoplan:

Omega's reign has been so pointless. They should've just went all the way with the Ibushi match, because it was the only thing interesting about his reign.

Okada vs Jay White :mjcry: Why they gotta do that to the Goat? Should've been Jericho vs Okada.

Jericho took the midlife crisis thing and made it his gimmick. He dresses like what he thought looked cool when he was a teenager and curses a lot because he thinks its cool. shyt is hilarious and over-the-top. Him leaving Vince was the best thing for his career.

A new NEVER title match has been added to the World Tag League finals.

New Japan announced this evening that Hirooki Goto will defend the NEVER Openweight title against Kota Ibushi. This stems from a challenge made on this morning’s World Tag League event at Korakuen Hall. Goto issued the challenge after a six man tag team bout featuring the both of them. Ibushi originally seemed uninterested in the offer, but then took him up after Goto pulled the offer.

Goto regained the title earlier this month at Power Struggle, defeating then champion Taichi. He wasn't originally supposed to get a championship shot, however. Will Ospreay was originally supposed to face Taichi, but a rib injury put him out of the match. Ospreay and Ibushi have run into each other several times in recent months.

The World Tag League finals will take place on December 9 at the Iwate Industrial Cultural Center.

:dwillhuh:

Maybe we are getting Ibushi v Osprey at the Dome after all :lupe:
