wait, i dont follow NJPW all like that but why they putting that old dude back in the main event for Omega? isnt this the equivalent of putting the belt back on a 40 year old John Cena?

wheres the youth movement?

Make or break match for White imo. New Japan clearly wants him to be their next big gaijin star and this Okada match (and whole angle) will determine if they pull the trigger on him or not eventually.

I'm fine with either Omega or Tanahashi winning tbh :manny:

Ibushi vs Goto, if booked, will probably be MOTN.

Surprised at how slowly they are taking Shingo's debut. I guess he'll get the win and the belt to start building him from there.

And Naito's match feels so pointless. At best he gets his win and the IC title back against Jericho which does nothing for him and only means it will take longer for him to get back in the Heavyweight title picture. Or worse, for whatever reason he loses to Jericho and looks like a total loser.
.

Not only that, the first match made no sense either. Naito wasn't even carrying the belt because it was "underneath him" and he had already gone through the "destroy this thing because it doesn't mean anything" phase :heh: his whole second reign was basically a 40 day transition to put Jericho over.

6 months later and nobody really cares that much about a win over Jericho because he's worked 3 matches and done a couple of run ins and crazy ass promos.

If Naito wins, he's back to a belt he kayfabe gives a flying fukk about - I honestly don't know what he'll do next to disrespect it :heh: - and goes over a special attraction. If he loses, he's pretty much in the same place he's been for the past 9 months.

I don't think Omega is dropping the title. They'll tell the old dog who comes close but falls at the last hurdle story.

Naito takes the title from Omega around Dominion. Okada wins G1....and you can guess what happens from there :mjlit:

I'm literally not interested in anything Kenny can do right now in NJ besides the big Ibushi match that it seems like they're never going to actually go through with. Even that I'm losing interest in after having it drawn out so long with no pay off in sight.

Old Man Tanahashi winning the title opens up a possibility that nearly anyone he faces could actually win the title now.

Can someone explain what Jericho's look is supposed to be these days? He's looking like a male stripper cosplaying as Alice Cooper or something.

My new belief is Kota beats Tana and we get to Kenny/Kota that way.

The payoff from this year's G1:ehh:

The Kamagoye/ Surpassing God - with Tana being who he refers to as 'God'. It pretty much writes itself.
