It will probably do about 200k. Why not just run a re-run or best of or something and then work a good angle the next week. Seems like a waste.
Eh, they already running the risk of Collision being an after thought with the way TK has treated it after the Continental Classic ended. At worst, a couple of the matches get some buzz and people watch it the shows days later.

And I wouldn't even be shocked if they do under 200k btw, this Royal Rumble is massive and one of the biggest they've booked in a long ass time. Cokeboy's case puts even more eyes on the show.

Even if this building was booked 18 months in advance, how in the name of fukk would they think booking a 14,000 arena in Bossier City was a good idea :laff:

Even at the height of their popularity they would've gotten like 6k tops :dead:

They are in New Orleans on Weds and the ticket advance there is super trash too (like 1500) so the state of Louisiana just isn’t AEW country in general apparently :yeshrug:

:mjlol:

That’s ok though, good opportunity to just watch and enjoy without any of the discourse.

But when I said it was a good look to move to smaller venues consistently outside PPVs and emphasize the crowd engagement, fools were acting crazy.

Not every observation is an attack :yeshrug:

Running a best-of show would be smart.

do a "Best of the Continental Classic" episode and you can fill 2 hours easy

or maybe a "Best of Adam Copeland in AEW" episode except it'd just be the PPV match against Christian and they'd need to find 100 more minutes of content to fill

Breh, a best of [insert wrestler's name] would be good! That's a good way for wrestlers who don't usually get much spotlight to get some shine, and to make new fans. It's also a unique concept that could help AEW stand out from other companies.
I'd definitely watch a compilation of the Honorable Bro. Powerhouse Hobbs delivering Foundational Black Ass whuppins :ohlawd:
