Can someone post links if Tanahashi matches that were really good?

For some reason, I just can’t get down with him.

Like if I had to rank my top 5 not in any order it would be;

Omega
Naito
Okada
Sanada
Inbushi

If I extend it to 10

Jay White
Tama
ZSJ
Yano (he’s jokes but I actually grown to enjoy his work)
Suzuki

If extend more

Tanga
Michael E
Ishii
Page
Juice

I don’t know brehs..... Tanahashi just ain’t doing it for me

Good look.

I’m gonna take my time and watch these so I can get a better opinion of him.

The feud that reignited New Japan :ehh:

Probably the blueprint for what would become New Japan's main event style

Joining Chaos was probably the dumbest thing Goto has done in his career (kayfabe wise)

Just realized during Okada's whole 2 year reign, dude didn't get one title shot. Before he joined he was one of Okada's biggest rivals. Now he just content with that bum ass Never title

Goto's career arc is really depressing, the fact dude keeps on putting so much effort (kayfabe wise) is pretty remarkable.

It was pretty much the end of Goto getting the hw title after he took that L to Okada:mjcry:

Was being an a$$hole, jumping Okada during pressers, etc, then showed up for the title match painted up like Shinzaki:wow:

Then the L happened.....then he bowed down and joined CHAOS.....even documented his L in his entrance vid for awhile:dahell:

Damn shame:francis:

The tragic thing is that by that point Goto was already a lost cause as a legit main eventer and seen as a perennial loser. That whole deal with Okada in 16' was clearly just a desperate attempt to make people believe he had a shot to finally win the big belt. Thing is, there was no need to completely castrate the guy with him bowing, joining his rival and throw all the character work - albeit a rushed, it was progression for a guy like him - to the bushes and go back to same ol' Goto with an even lower role. He could've at least work from what he had done in that mini run, but nope. It's pretty fukked up in more ways than one.

Tanahashi is definitely out of his prime and has been working injured for years straight. He's still capable of greatness but it's a rarer and rarer occurrence these days.
