Unlike wwe where they hate even having two people together. Vince thinks every team should create two singles stars but they ain’t go enough shyt for all them singles stars to do.. Remember Otis partner, they broke him up just to have Otis team with gable.

AEW knows everyone isn’t going to be able to hold their own so keeping them in groups gives the green or lower mid cards something to do

I don't remember where I saw the interview with Wardlow, but he was more upset about how they signed guys with no background in wrestling / had no experience (i.e., signing the football players / amateur athletes).
