I just started watching and I had to come in here just to basically say this..Damn..that was a good match..Shaq is one of a kind. Always a character.
tho shaq for being in shape and actually training.. It seems like WWE never trains their celebs.. Also shout out to them for putting this match first for all the casuals that only turned in to see shaq.. They get it

Don't think it can be stressed enough how important Dark is as far as getting younger, less experienced talent some reps before they move to the bigger stage. Really hope AEW keeps the format as-is once they resume going on the road weekly.
Shahid Khan is worth 8-10 billion. Don't think he'd even notice if Tony dropped $100 million. Not to mention they're probably in the same boat as WWE as far as saving money with travel/touring expenses.
Best guess would be a segment ran longer than planned.
AEW about to sign Ethan Page
It is interesting that he wasn't among the new group of people they signed to go to the PC or NXT. Tip-off that he'd be going there would be removing his merch from shops, and by the looks of it he doesn't have any merch available currently so maybe WWE is still an option.
I'm guessing it's Foley being the guest referee for the Main Event
Probably more motivated than he's ever been. Doesn't want his last moment in the ring to be that match with Rollins.
How long before Cokeboy tells Bruce to stop STWW?
Bruce mentally checked out of STWW months ago. Show will improve if he ever gets fired again and he can go into some of the bullshyt they've done (HIAC 2019 would be a fukkery filled show).
I hate the way Cody no-sold Shaq's powerbomb. Shaq took a chairshot & went through a table. He worked hard to make the match look good. Cody could've at least sold the big man's 1 big offensive move.

The horsemen reunion was dope for nostalgia purposes. I’m not mad at a potential new version all parties involved need an identity.

They booked Shaq/Jade vs Cody/Velvet incredibly well. With a guy Shaq’s size you don’t have to have him do too much to make him look legit. He worked the match like a classic big man, other big men should take note, you don’t have to do too much. Keep it simple. Jade showed potential, she sold well and has that aura of a star. As she improves they’re gonna have a superstar on their hands. Shaq did everything well and props to Cody for making it look great.
