Mike the Executioner
What went on up there? Poppers and weird sex!
Rock wants Cody's soul? He's acting so delusional, he reminds me of my son Dominik right now.

Might be Punk winning the Chamber and turning heel WM17 style with the Rock's help.
Can't see Cody turning anytime soon and I don't see Cena being a heel during his farewell tour. I could see Punk being excited about being a heel again for the first time in over a decade.
The way I'm interpreting this is that Rock's immense hatred and animosity towards Cody stems from him channeling the genuine love and admiration of the fans away from Rock.
The fans that were his first, and also feel have switched up on him since his return causing him to turn heel in the first place. He thought being the Final Boss would gain him back the fans' favor, but they still largely see him as the old guy or "Dwayne" showing up to insert himself in spots he doesn't belong. It's pretty meta.
Now that hatred has turned to obsession; he wants to either control what Cody has earned and feels he has lost or stump it out by any means necessary.![]()
Breh, at this point, we're only a few weeks away from Solo retwisting Jacob's locs & holding his pocket backstage.

This is the first time the audience is unanimously supportive of Cena. For those in attendance, this is the last time they'll ever see him in their city. I just can't see a heel run getting much heat because of that-- I suspect it'll be cheers from the men and apathy from the kids/casuals who were hoping to see him do his thing once last time. I mean, it would be entertaining for sure and a ballsy move but a bit too much of a risk for how this company operates. This notion about Cena not being heel is a odd one imo
It's the perfect time to do it. They have Cody, whose basically this decade's Cena already.
Plus, Vince is not around anymore to micromanage the idea of him never turning. Remember Cena always wanted to go heel.
With the shackles of Vince being gone, now is the moment to do it.

I also don't believe that Cena would personally be open to it or that he ever was really. Maybe early in his run but I think he was hesitant to turn after his brand became synonymous with Make a Wish.
he is being a heel by even making that offer, he has to come off friendly to get Cody to trust him. No good guy would ever say no shyt like that, just because he isn’t being disrespectful or angry it doesn’t mean he isn’t a heel. He was being manipulativeIt’s a decent concept but the execution was trash. Mostly because Rock isn’t leaning into the heel run like he did last year. He’s basically doing this wink wink nod nod “I’m Dwayne Johnson playing the Final Boss” thing - so if he’s not acting like a heel anymore what is the point of what he’s even pitching to CAWdy?
