Not only that, but who does Cody face at wrestlemania if not Roman? If he’s not challenging for that belt, it’s a letdown and who else could they set up for him to face?

At the end of the day, this was the best business decision. Hate it for Cody but he will get his chance to get both titles next year.

No doubt, I get it, this was probably the last chance to ever make this match happen, if you get a green light on Roman/Rock, you gotta through with it, if nothing else it’s gonna make 40 the biggest WM of all time.

Half of TSC said Cody wasn't a top 10, or maybe it was 15, wrestler on the AEW roster 2 years ago. And that he was not a good pro wrestler. There's not good vision here on the whole sometimes.

Exactly, Cody needs to win the title. Either against Seth, Damian, or R Truth. Next year should be Cody v. Roman but the Rock v. Roman was always the best business move.
