Please tell me you didn't just mention Justise Winslow.

:usure:

You just threw out of bunch of names that - don't play the 4 regularly, bigger than Zion, better defensive players, more skilled offensively outside the paint, and/or aren't great players. The point is, he's not going to play at the 4 full-time, in his current state, he just doesn't have the skillset/size. A # of the starting 4s now are around 6-9+, and space the floor, because that's the direction the league has been moving for a minute now; Zion is neither of those things.

Justise Winslow starts at the 4 spot for the Heat....

Point is...there are tons of 6'7, 6'8 PFs

4s aren't anything other than SFs these days

Thaddeus Young played his entire career at the PF at 6'8...and he never was a super consistent 3 point shooter...

RHJ plays at the 4 predominantly at 6'7 and he can't shoot 3s at all

There aren't too many 6'9+ PF....this ain't the 90s or early 2000s

Average size of a power forward is 6'9...

And Zion would be more athletic than every single one of them...and he could switch and guard 1-4

And no smart team would want him at SF because it would take away from his offensive rebounding and his athleticism advantage

As long as Zion can hit a corner 3, he's fine at the 4 spot...

Absolutely he doesn’t have the natural vision. I meant “wow” impact on spectacular weak side blocks, big time dunks, open court athleticism, getting any shot he wants with brute force. Decent outside shooter. Your eyes gravitate to him just like Bron at St. Vs
And you're basing this on what exactly?
You’re trying to nuke tf out of this.

I’m not telling you anything, Shaq doesn’t even have the same skill set for you to be trying to compare every single aspect.

We were specifically talking about how he gets into the paint, athleticism, aggressiveness, etc.

He looks like a shorter Shaq in that respect
But that's the entire point, he can't be a smaller 6'7" Shaq, because Shaq was Shaq because he towered/powered over everyone. Zion isn't going to be able to do that in the league.

And he's trash.

:mjlol:

What's the point in bringing up these marginal/trash 4s as if it means Zion is going to be a star? Or is that what you'll think he'll project to be, nothing more than a Winslow/RHJ type?

Shaq was Shaq because of his size plus his sheer athleticism and aggression. There were a lot of players Shaq size that wasn’t Shaq.

For someone his size, there was no one as fast and strong.. I know you remember LSU Shaq. His height wasn’t the only thing to do with him being Shaq

Zion isn’t Justise Winslow:mjlol:

Winslow plays PF but can’t do anything Zion can do

RJ has dominated since a kid, he has the fundamentals, basketball IQ, build, feel for the game, knack to win, clutchness and athleticism.

He is the definition of the total package, not Zion.

I like RJ Barrett. Two years ago I said he was the best player not in the NBA and he was only 16 years old. I think he'll be a SUPERSTAR.

However, he's not as special as Zion. We've seen the likes of RJ Barrett before. We've never seen anything like Zion before. Like I said he's like Shaq. He's a phenom that the NBA is simply not ready for.

Point is...he'll be going against marginal and trash 4s that aren't stronger than him...

You act like the league is full of good to great PFs...

LOL he is gonna be going against players that got 1 inch on him meanwhile he'll be 30 to 40 pounds heavier than them and a top 5 athlete in the league...and probably arguably number one at his position....

Zion is gonna athletically dominate 95 percent of the 4s he'll match up with...

Only a Giannis or an Anthony Davis is gonna be able to guard him...

fukk is a Tobias Harris or a Harrison Barnes gonna do to stop Zion, he got 50 pounds over them and jumps out the gym...

"But he don't have a jumpshot...he can't stretch the floor...he is gonna be short..." :mjlol:

I don’t see how RJ is the better prospect outside of having a prettier shot. Zion seems to have young LeBron like impact

No. Zion will have a young Shaq like impact. He will be an immediate difference maker. Remember it took LeBron until year 3 to make the playoffs. I can see Zion having his team in the playoffs by year 2.

Zion's lack of height/wingspan is going to limit his ceiling in the league, because he won't be able to do the same shyt he's doing in college. The tweening is real.

LeBron lacks that dog yet he led trash ass Cleveland to the finals..you see what they are without him, the worst team in the league. Plus he led them the first time as the leader at 22 years old in 07.

Sit your dumb ass down.

Foreal. These nikkas really learn definitions before they just throw dumbass shyt out there

Say a 6'7 PF with a 6'10 wingspan without a jumpshot is a better prospect than a 6'8 PG

Zion is a 6'7" Shaq with elite ball-handling and passing skills. It doesn't matter that he can't shoot.

Like Shaq, no one will be able to handle his physicality on the inside or his explosiveness on the perimeter. He's 285 lbs and loves to play bully ball. And if you put a big guy on him, he'll just take him to the perimeter and then blow by him.

Zion has a better mentality than LeBron. That is why he will be more dominant.
