Pre-microfracture surgery Stoudemire was a pure athleticism that I have never seen before in a PF.
I never seen a player dunk on more people than pre-microfracture surgery Amare
I remember him making Tim Duncan his bytch in the 2005 playoffs
Didn't he average 40 ppg?
He could have been a potential legendary player with that athleticism.
I've never seen that athleticism before.
Zion is that athleticism on steroids.

If I were a religious man I’d pray nightly for this kid to have Lebron like durability...wish they could coat his knees with some kinda adamantium/vibranium alloy ... the basketball world deserves to see his career play out without even the hint of Serious injury

R.J. won us games too. What was our record without Cam? How was our defense? What was the final score in those games?
Some of you guys really underrate both Cam and R.J. impact on our squad last year.
What games RJ won that Zion played:mjlol:

I've already said I don't think he's going to be a bust, so save this for the next man. Don't worry, you're not the first poster to misconstrue what I've been saying; it's par for the course on a board that rarely ever shows any real critical thinking.

I negged you for being a cornball, talking about "you don't deserve to have children" after I was talking about his lack of jumpshot as it relates to his ceiling - I was not calling him a bust; I was not wishing, praying, hoping etc on his downfall; I was not slandering his character. All I was doing was breaking down his game.

What has this board come to where we can't even discuss players' games without being told we shouldn't be allowed to father children.

At a nikka that gave the Defensive player of the year fits in the paint needing a jumper
Only a reactionary ass muh'fukka would have this belief. I'm thinking about the long term. Or do you seem to think that no defender or team is going to be able to limit his opportunities of scoring in the paint for the rest of his career, and not force him into using alternative ways of putting the ball in the basket, all because of a couple of games in preseason?

:usure:

The critical thinking on this board dilutes with each passing minute.

That's all well and good, but that's not going to help him when he's struggling to find a position to play at..

You do realize that the athleticism/talent gap between HS-college is not even remotely close to college-NBA, right? If you don't think his style of play at his height will have transition issues once he hits the league, you're going to be in for a harsh reality check.

:manny:

It goes without saying, he's far, far more [offensively] talented than Draymond is, but the problem is, your existence in the league is down to your ability to make shots, or to stop them. I struggle to see how Zion with his current height/skillset is going to make shots in the league, because he's damn sure not going to be able to stop them. 6th man will be a great spot for him to start from to build his outside game - his entire existence in the league will come down to it.

:hubie:

At his current height, he isn't making these buckets against NBA defenders. Not to mention by the time he plays in the league, he won't be playing at 285 (so he'll be at even more of an disadvantage).

And you're basing this on what exactly?

But that's the entire point, he can't be a smaller 6'7" Shaq, because Shaq was Shaq because he towered/powered over everyone. Zion isn't going to be able to do that in the league.

For starters, he's NOT going to last long in the league if he stays at 285lbs (I highly doubt his trainers/prep team will let him enter his rookie season at that weight), so he's not going to have that same size advantage at the next level, like he does now. Second of all, his strength/athleticism won't mean shyt if he doesn't have the height/wingspan to finish over longer, smarter and experienced defenders. Tweeners with strength/athleticism as their main attributes have limited ceilings in the league. His success will be predicated on him developing an outside game, because he's not going to dominate at the NBA level with his current style of play.

:dead:

Spoken like someone that doesn't know shyt about the league.

I don't care how "efficient" he is when almost all his shots come inside the paint, he's not going to have that same level of luxury and efficiency once he hits the league, . I don't know why you're having a hard time grasping something so simple.

:manny:

Like I've told you before, this doesn't mean a cotdamn thing, because there's no greater step than from college-NBA. He's built like a grown man, up against kids, he's not going to have that same athleticism/size advantage at the NBA level.[/QUOTE]

Grown man against kids. Won't be the same once he plays against other grown men.

:hubie:

I wouldn't use what he did against the Bulls, who have arguably the worst defensive frontcourt (without their anchor - WCJ), .

So let me get this straight...WCJ would have helped the bulls on defense to slow down Zion but Zion going head to head with 2 time dpoy 7"8 wingspan Rudy gorbert means nothing?? Oh it's all good when out of shape Zion gets his shot blocked twice against the Knicks in summer league but scoring 4 times in the race of gorbert means "But by bu..its only preseason" like dudes dont use the preseason to get ready for the regular season....

Once again I'm not here for no long thesis paper post about you talking about he needs a jumper for the future..that's a moot point because he has hit his jump shots but you want him to force the issue..I'm not going back and forth with you just pointing out how you've been wrong so far but you keep moving goal post

And yeah I went through your post history....and there NOTHING you can do about it:stopitslime:...dont @ me either...brotha:camby:
