See, this is the problem with muh'fukkas jumping in discussions when they aren't privy to the context.

It's not about me wanting him to take contested 3s, I'm simply illustrating that just because he made one wide-open 3 doesn't mean he can suddenly shoot, which is why that ONE example doesn't prove anything. Furthermore, contested jumpshots he's going to need to introduce into his game, even if you are of the belief it isn't his game right now, because he'll eventually hit a dead-end where he'll need to add one.

It's like, folks talking about Simmons' lack of a jumpshot, and then someone uses him hitting that 3-pointer in preseason as evidence to suggest that he actually does have one.

How do you figure this? Do you believe teams will never adapt to him trying to get all his points in the paint, at any point during his career? Do you believe he's going to go on countless title-runs simply through scoring in the paint and not having a jumpshot? We've just seen Giannis' game limited in the postseason due to not having a jumpshot, and he has more physical advantages than Zion, but you seem to think it's not going to affect Zion's "career trajectory", whatsoever.

These preseason games have got y'all nikkas out of your cotdamn minds.

I'm not talking about him simply shooting 3s, I'm talking about his jumpshot, in general - whether that be from behind the arc, off screen-actions, high/mid-post etc. How the fukk are you going to bring up a reference of Jordan shooting the ball, when that's exactly what I'm talking about with Zion? I'm not wanting him to be anything, I'm simply stating what he needs to exist as all the great players that have come before him. It ain't got shyt to do with what I want.

Next thing nikkas are going to start saying that Jordan didn't need a jumpshot......

Gianni is not the half court player Zion is u fukking idiot. When u have a handle and can breakdown defender u will ALWAYS be able to average 25ppg no matter the defense.

Stop talking as if Zion has the limitations that Gianni has. Their games are NOTHING alike dumbass.
