no it's a general joint thing the wrist is just where the excruciating pain happens. my ankles and shins are hurting while running. man I dunno. let me make a resolution to get an appointment and get started on the medical stuff by July 6

yeah I think I want to start doing situps/crunches.. yeah I can try lunges too.. by squats you mean, without weights? let me see

no pics. lol. basically a lot of weight on the thighs but now it's on my stomach heavily as well

bro honestly not to put a damper on your hopes, but if your bones and shins and shyt are hurting you should avoid running until you get it checked out, kuz this is some serious ass shyt.

if an excercise is hurting your joints and you don't know know whether it is because of your flabbiness or because of an underlying condition, then you should get that dealt with ASAP.

my reccommendation for now is to try to walk 2 hours a day, and reign in your diet until you know for a fact whats wrong with you, kuz id hate to see you fukk yourself up for lack of understanding your own body yazeeme

damn brehs I fukked up

I went out to jog today and my shins were like  I might have damaged them.. I should have listened to y'all :snoop:

okay I'm going to

(1) take Zilla's approach of walking & trying to do diet based modifications,
(2) go to the doc by the 6th no excuses,
(3) probably will need to do something like swimming or cycling for cardio instead of running but that's after getting the medical stuff started

On a serious note, you should be using the elliptical on the toughest resistance that won't hurt your joints..every pound your overweight is equal to 5 pounds on your joints.. So you may be putting 500+ pounds of pressure on your joints..rowing, elliptical at least an hour a day 7 days a week.. Do that and drink nothing but water and you lose pounds in a month Without even changing your diet.. It will get harder to see results the longer you stay on your routine, and weight to lose

looks like my shin splints have healed... can I get back to things now? I guess no sprinting, just light jogging? or I guess just walking for now

as for the other stuff I got it checked out... the doc told me I can't do anything impact athletics at all because the inflammation will spread  .. but I'm not going to be doing any things like that for a while right now anyway

Nothing :to: I was eating very carefully during ramadan but it didn't seem to help lose any weight I guess cause I was very inactive and had slowed metabolism from the fasting.. and my shin splints still haven't perfectly healed yet.. and for the last week I've just been gorging on whatever

Going to start doing some walking and stuff like that this week and get back to eating carefully.. it's going to be a long process

Try drinking a few cups of green tea a day, shyt will keep your metabolism going. I'd also try eating a lot of foods high in fiber, you'll get full quick.

Personally I love making chili with lots of beans, you'll be :dead: after a few bowls. I've never dieted at all, all I do is avoid pop, avoid eating a lot of starches, and eat a lot of beans and I've never had trouble with unwanted weight gain.

brehs help me

I've been dieting for a week and it's going great

but I know in the upcoming weeks and months it's not going to go as fast as Week 1 was, so I need to do some exercise as well right

what exercises can I do without joining a gym or buying any equipment that will NOT stress any joints? (no pushups, running etc.) Just tell me and I will start. I think it would basically be in the category of abdominal or limb related exercises

Let's do this :salute: I want to stay on the wagon for 8-9 months and get rid of all the excess. Let's go.

P.S. two things that look interesting to me:
