I enjoyed this film ... a lot more than Hurt Locker.
And I disagree with the notion that this film promotes torture. To me it simply portrayed the events as they happened, regardless of it being right or wrong, through the eyes of the main character. The film didn't go into some of the negative consequences of using torture, but it didn't have to -- those characters saw it as a necessary evil, and both the male and female had their reservations toward it. And for the most part the torture stopped once that information leaked around in the middle of the movie, and they had to use other means to gather intel (which was around what ... '07/'08? Right before Obama got elected?). That, to me, goes against your argument that this movie was trying to say torture was the only way we got bin Laden. They got him even when the enhanced interrogations stopped, or were significantly curbed. Instead of torture, they bribed people with Lamborginis to get info .
