Co-sign, this movie wasn't very good at all and I was really looking forward to it. I'm glad I didn't spend the 10 bucks on it.
I streamed this the other night.... I loved the hurt locker but this shyt here was

I found it to be to very well-made and well-paced. It was creative in that sense.
Really though, I couldnt get behind Chastain's character like I could for Claire Danes. So much of the dialogue felt extremely forced.
Not a bad film at all, but its kinda hollow and lacking substance. Im amazed at the unanimous praise this is getting

Has nothing to do with the fact she's a woman. Technically the movie was done very well. It was well acted, the editing was on point. The problem is the movie is a propaganda piece that Torture is right. I know we tortured people so I'm not saying paint a fake story but again the movie doesn't challenge wither we should or shouldn't do it, instead the movie promotes it as the KEY reason we got Bin Laden. Like I said, watching it, it felt the Bush Administration wrote the script. She needs to get back to movies like "Point Break and Strange Days" and get off this propaganda war on terror B.S.
Women for the most part, are sellouts. Dont expect revolutions outta them.

At no point did the movie say Torture is wrong outside an Obama news clip. The movie made it like they got all their tips from Torture so that's why I said it glorified torture. Like I said, I know tortured happen but there was no debate in the film. The film presented the torture as the source for success which makes me feel makes it propaganda.
