That was the game Calvin Johnson had over 300 yards receiving on us after Brandon Carr decided to run his mouth. Ruined a 3 TD game from Dez Bryant too.
:unimpressed:

Yep. I think it was 3 catches for 80 yards and 2 TD’s. But Dez should have had what would have been the game sealing TD.

This was the game Dez got yoked up by D.Ware at the end because he wasn’t content with losing

Romo single handedly got Laurent Robinson paid by the Jacksonville Jaguars and had Terence Williams looking like an actual NFL WR. Keep telling me Dak is better tho.
:unimpressed:

Don’t forget Kevin Ogletree and Patrick Crayton. Their deals weren’t as luxurious as Laurents but Romo gave them a name.

Stop it. Y’all goin through hoops and obstacles to protected Zeke. He had the bulk of his thousand yard seasons after Fred retired. Zeke lost his juice once he bulked up and lost his 2nd gear. Zeke lost his explosiveness. Saquan goin through the same thing. These fools pulled a Trunk(DBZ cell saga) when they level up instead of doin that he right way like Goku and Vegetable. They bulking up and losing all their explosiveness and speed advantage. Zeke was an angle killer his first year. Defenders had the angle on him and he was so fast he could break that angle on the db’s and hit the homerun run. Zeke hasnt been able to do that since his second year.

It’s something goin on with the strength and conditioning programs with these new generation rb.

Emmitt looked good always the up to his last year in Dallas. he always had another gear ten years into the league.
Listened to local radio on The Ticket and a couple of the guys mentioned that while Zeke wasn't getting into trouble....he still ate, drank and smoked A LOT during the offseason.

He'd get himself in shape for training camp but breh would be wildin out for a few months after the playoffs.

Emmitt never did all the drinking and smoking shyt and he started taking really good care of himself around '96 or '97...extending his career. Plus Emmitt avoided hits while Zeke just ran through folks.

Emmitt = 4,409 carries
Zeke = 1,881 carries

For perspective....Emmitt had his 1,881st carry during the 1995 season, arguably one of his best years as a pro and probably his peak. Zeke is basically done at 1,881. Zeke would never last as long as Emmitt but he definitely could have squeezed out more years if he wasn't living hard early on. Shyt catches up to you.

Zeke peaked as a rookie (when our OL was the strongest, coincidence) and slowly declined from there. Might could have had a longer run if he kept his fat ass in shape. But that accelerated his decline.

He did bring some exciting moments but this move had to be done if this organization wants to operate like a real NFL team.
