But they say Jordan couldn't play today? Lol. Jordan was the most fundamental and had athleticism.

Jordan on the wizards with one good knee could still get buckets and could still defend at a high level on a day both knees felt good.
That's what made MJ the GOAT.

He was such a freak athlete that you don't even notice his fundamentals. Peak Larry Bird and the Celtics would destroy the Bulls but Larry STILL was like :ohhh: watching Jordan cook. Dude learned from Dean Smith. All the top players in history talk about fundamentally sound Jordan was with footwork, spacing etc.

Americans fell in love with 6'7" athletic wings whose only skill is jumping 40".

Overgrown Zubac

Ironically, Zubac is a more talented throwback Greg Ostertgag 90s big that the coli yearns so much for :troll:. Gobert is a light-skin twin of Dikembe with the same strengths and flaws (more magnified bc of the era he's in). CHI's Vucevic is a shorter (6'11) version of IND's Rik Smits... comparable post-game and passive/soft behavior. Ayton is a more talented but equally unserious take-your-pick of Elden Cambell, Mike Olawakandi.

Hell, if nyggas really miss Big Country Reeves and that slow footed garbage ass post play that much, here's some good news: Jonas Valanciunas been in the league for 12 years cotdamn it :pachaha:

Basically, once you get past the dominant big 4 (Hakeem, Shaq, DRob, and Ewing to a lesser extent), the rest of the 90s bigs were more miss than hit. You'll have an Alonzo Mourning but a ton of Joe Kleine, Ron Seikely, Sam Perkins ass nyggas.

Whereas, while not without flaws... Jokic, Embiid, Wemby, Sengun, AD, KAT, Drummond, Chet, Bam, Porzingis, Jackson Jr, Vucevic, Gobert, now Edey, etc are a diversified center class. Underrated at this point. We even have our modern "stiffs" too in the Zubacs, Mitch Robinsons, David Livelys, etc.

You can't be a dummy and go to Purdue. That's one of the biggest engineering/computer science/aerospace schools in the whole country.
Hail, hail to ole Purdue…all hail to our old gold and black :mjcry:

I usually shoot down to Memphis to catch a couple of Grizz games every season…definitely gotta check out boiler legend Edey on the squad

He might be more dominant than Wemby but it’s still early to tell. I think he’s gonna shock a lot of his doubters. Grizzlies are a stacked team with some very good players. They just need to stay healthy.

I did. Saying Memphis will be a tough opponent is not saying they'll dominate the playoffs, that kind of stuff has to be earned. But with Ja, JJJ, Bane and Edey, Clarke back, a good bench, we got a squad with potential, and optimism is reasonable.
Except they're saying more than Memphis will just be a tough opponent.

We've got cats in stating nobody in the West has the frontcourt to stop them, that no frontcourt is going to be able to psychologically respond to be effective on either side of the ball because of it. shyt, right after our initial exchange we had someone say he's going to be more dominant than Wemby. But most importantly, if you read between the lines, a lot of these cats in here are desperately trying to microwave Edey's dominance all because they want to layer their 90s agenda about big men and how soft the league is today.
You're trying too hard (and obviously have a suburban mom's hate for Ja :mjlol:)
This is the second time in this thread you've tried this lame ass joke.

Ain't nobody hating on Ja, I'm just telling it how it is about him. Or are you going to tell me he's shown the leadership qualities to build a championship team around? I don't even know why you think that suburbia shyt hits like that considering that's where he's from.

He's not a stick. Can't teach that.

Only cats like Embiid gonna be able to get into his body...and that's it. Other guys Gonna have to Hakeem him (and only Sengun can do that). And most Big men just want to rim run and shoot threes....and most bigs besides like a Towns won't punish him for not wanting to come out there.

Unfortunately, I have major doubts over how Ja and dem will utilize him when it matters most, especially since the team will soon be at a crossroads. Their lack of spacing is worrying too, which they're going to need in abundance if they're any hope of using him as a linchpin in the paint.
First game of the season and this is already ringing true - 5 points in 14 minutes (fouled out).

He was barely utilized, at all, and he was constantly in foul trouble at the other end of the floor. This is another case of TheColi going off too early instead of letting shyt play out.
