I, for one, welcome our new space overlords.
The teams that passed on him will start having regrets his 2nd/3rd year when the trash picks from this draft class don't pan out.
I was shouting at the TV during draft night. Teams passing on a standout college player and 2x National college player of the year for unproven French brehs:gucci:

Recently found out that Edey's mother is a retired Mechanical Engineer and used to teach nuclear-related courses so that probably explains his ability to pick things up whether complex or simple. I really see someone who'll be a very clever, crafty player in a few years.

7'4 300 lbs. with an Engineering mother sounds pretty much like a create-a-player. Teams were crazy to pass :mjlol: :heh:

You can't be a dummy and go to Purdue. That's one of the biggest engineering/computer science/aerospace schools in the whole country.

This whole thread is :russ: .

Neanderthal face Deandre Ayton with half the skill.

And there are guys in here hyping up, "yea, you know he has a mechanical engineer mother."

What the fukk has happened to this forum?
Ayton is soft af while Edey is a menace who taunts defenders. Dude talks a lot of shyt.

Big difference when those lights are shining and he yells "Too fukking small!" at somebody and little bros them in a play-off series. That shyt hits a pro athlete right in their ego when they get rag dolled and emasculated. Reminds me a lot of Luka, just arrogant af and laughs at people.

Funny thing is how many teams will try to find another version of this guy in upcoming drafts, but they're going to be missing some of the key factors this guy has that makes him really unique.

Additionally you can tell he's looking for the pass and will make a lot of teams pay when they double. Had four assists a few nights ago.
He did this really well at Purdue.

He's not a Jokic, Arvydas or Shaq level passer, but he recognizes doubles really well and uses his length to pass out of them. It's not a coincidence that Purdue was one of the best 3 point shooting teams despite running their offense through him

Really good at running dribble hand offs too because he just buries ppl with his screens. Ja and Bane are going to eat off his screens

Yup. If they can add more shooters they'd a deep and complete 3-level scoring team. In addition to Kennard, if they can add reliable shooters they'd fit basically any situation and play any kind of game other teams.

They need to draft Liam McNeeley, Egor Demin or Jakucionis this year and basically be bigger team of shooters. I also notice in preseason they're moving the ball like crazy and Liam McNeeley is going to be great for that: shooting, passing, defense at a true 6'7-6'9.

Unfortunately, I have major doubts over how Ja and dem will utilize him when it matters most, especially since the team will soon be at a crossroads. Their lack of spacing is worrying too, which they're going to need in abundance if they're any hope of using him as a linchpin in the paint.

If he stays mobile to where he’s not a liability on defense it’s barbecue chicken on offense. 90% of the league running power forwards at the 5 he gets that drop step it’s over.

BBQ chicken.
