I'd trade Rui instead of Reaves....Reaves is just too important to the team because of his versatility. And the team would crater without his playmaking.

It's an interesting question. I trust Rui's shooting as a 4 more than I trust that Reaves will do as much as he needs to as a 2. Reaves is also redundant with Lavine there.

Caruso is a better replacement for Reaves cause he allows you to at least choose whether you want offense or defense in the lineup.

If the Bulls want an expiring deal and young dudes the Warriors have to be the favorites to get him.

What exactly do the Lakers have to offer the Bulls realistically as the offers dudes on here are throwing out so far is trash
When I brought up this scenario 2-3 weeks ago, my idea was:

Chi gets:
Reaves
Rui
DLo
Hood
2 firsts

LAL gets:
Lavine
Caruso

Caruso is the real get and he would be worth at least two firsts on the market, imo. Lavine's contract is pretty scary. I would tweak it as need be; maybe a pick swap or throw in Max Christie, etc. I think it's pretty fair as is though. Reaves and Rui are legit good and both on reasonable contracts.

He was also trying to get there last year as well.

Nah I think Rui has way higher upside than Reaves.

Rui when aggressive can score at all three levels without depending on anyone to create for him.

I honestly think Ham is holding dude back by not giving him minutes.

Caruso is not worth 2 first round picks.

Plus I personally value Rui over Reaves in terms of upside.

Lol, all these posts acting like LaVine garbage...add him to Philly, they get better. Add him to LAL they get better.

Now do some of these teams have the assets to make a move for him is a different story...

He’s not garbage at all

But also if he’s your #1 or 1b like he is with the Bulls you’re probably not winning shyt :manny:

There’s a happy medium between those two ends of the spectrum

A team like the Lakers he would be a great fit on

Don’t give up either Rui or Reaves for Lavine

YES i know Reaves has struggled but we’re not even out of the first MONTH of the season yet and we’ve seen what happens when the Lakers make “Panic so get a former all star NOW” trades.

Lavine just doesn’t seem like the answer to me. He can score but he has major knee issues and has regressed as a player. He is what he is at this point and i’m not sure if seeing both him AND AD chillin on the bench mid to late season is what Lakers fans want
