Bulls shouldn't even trade him now. They won too many games to be a bottom 6 team.

The only bottom feeding team that I can see going on a run and getting out of the tanking zone is Philly once they get healthy.

Now... It's not worth it because if you trade Zach for a worse or neutral return AND you still don't keep the pick, you're in a worse position than just keeping him.

:unimpressed:

Team is too deep even after you move Zach and Vuc to slide in the abyss
Bulls are now 17-19 a month before the deadline and in the 10th spot

They're 2 games up over Philly who's sitting at 11, but 1 game from being the 7th seed and 2 games from the 5th seed

:francis:

San Antonio is keeping that pick and Chicago is going to keep Zach going into the summer.

The issue here is, bulls could trade lavine and Vuc, and still not keep the pick based on the record we have now and one of the easiest schedules in the league to finish the year. Also based on who we get in return in those trades. Mpj could come here and go completely nuts for us. Etc.

Another thing is if we unload every one we are going to have to answer to the league for tanking. And as we saw in the past they will make an example out of us.

I do think a deal might get made at the deadline but I think it will be a small one.

That's why I quoted my original post. They've flown too close to the Sun not to get burned either way.

And Billy Donovan isn't tanking shyt and trashing his overall record... Funny thing is he got outta OKC to run from the grind and they are the best team in the Western Conference

:heh:
