He looks a lot better next to a legit playmaker.

But what's the end game here?

He's 29 and y'all aren't a legit playoff team, so y'all essentially spinning around the block with nobody to shoot at.
End game is a trade that Chicago is fine making.

Last year, they would have needed to include picks to get off of him. They were not going for that at all.

So instead of buckling and attaching assets to move him, they held onto him to increase his value. Which is happening right now.

Lakers have the salary to make a deal work.

With a healthy LaVine now looking good, a Laker trade is more intriguing now because Dalton Knetch looks like a valuable piece.

I don't see how the Kings can make a deal work for LaVine. They don't have enough money to make it work.
Yeah Reaves gotta know the Knetch is on his heels

Terry rozier and Duncan Robinson plus 1 first for zach Lavine is the cleanest trade
The Bulls are close to the lux tax, this trade would push them over.

I'd only take on Rozier if they had another team to flip him to. Chicago would probably also try to unload Carter and/or Craig.

Miami's 1st could be a decent one depending on the protections, but if I'm the Bulls I'm asking for Ware in a LaVine trade. Might be willing to do something without a 1st if Ware is included

Donโ€™t nobody want this garbage :gucci:

The bulls have too many guards and Duncan Robinson sucks. Only thing he can do is shoot and heโ€™s currently shooting 23% from 3
The trade is mid for sure, but if AKME's plan is to get off of Zach's deal for cap relief it could work.

Robinson would be an expiring just to get the deal done. Rozier makes no sense here outside of the money, Miami's 1st is hit or miss because they always seem like they're close to falling off but never do, so idk. I'd definitely ask for Ware from Miami tho.

Holding on to Zach was the best decision they made because now, some of these veteran teams have added decent young talent through the draft that would be deal starters in any LaVine trade now.

Cap relief for what? To pay another player an inflated salary like bum ass pat?

Lavine averaging 26 ppg and shooting 46% from 3 on 8 attempts a game. You donโ€™t dump that for cap relief. Salary dumping the most productive player on the team dumb af

Well... when they give Giddey 30Ms, how are they going to even try to keep guys like Coby and Ayo in 2 years with Zach's contract still on the books?

Just looked at the cap sheet. Right now, they're slated to only have 76.3M in salary if everybody opts in for 26/27. That goes up to 106.3M if Giddey gets 30M like what's been reported.

Then you also have Coby White and Ayo who will be unrestricted FAs. Coby is going to command a lot more after this deal is up, Ayo as well, so it all comes down to what the plan is. It's been well documented that the Bulls want to trade him. If you can get picks or a young prospect that you graded out well for him, that's a complete 180 from when everybody was saying the Bulls would have to include Caruso or 1sts to just get off of his deal.

We could find a third team for that extra 600k. Nothing to crazy like you would have to do with the lakers
