Lakers have the salary to make a deal work.

With a healthy LaVine now looking good, a Laker trade is more intriguing now because Dalton Knetch looks like a valuable piece.

I don't see how the Kings can make a deal work for LaVine. They don't have enough money to make it work.

They can trade Monk in December

The Bulls are really loaded at the guard position, Monk is a good player, but they have more than enough fire power and guys they need to evaluate on the perimeter than bringing in someone like Monk... unless the idea is to flip him to another team.

Not getting back positive value for Lavine. Y’all need to accept that if you willing to make the trade.
The narrative changes. The media panning him when he's not on the court to prove he's still HIM won't work with him on the court and ballin'

The price isn't going to be the same as it was with him duckin' a Detroit trade and opting for foot surgery. It's just not.

It's already happening. Literally, we just had reports coming out saying he was involved in up to 15 proposals with no takers before pre-season started. Now after he's played and looked great, new reports coming out how teams are back interested

Dont see a scenario where we trade lavine

That trade kicker is going to keep the good teams already over the tax away from him.

The teams with the money and flexibility don't want lavine because he doesn't fit their timeline nor do they want to part with assets to get him

And the bulls would be dumb to just dump lavine for a mediocre package.

He looks great playing next to actual play making point guards. That pass giddy made to lavine vs Memphis is living in my head. Unless someone breaks the bank for him I think he plays out his contract with the bulls

lol Lavine motivated to make it work after Bulls almost traded him to Detroit. Detroit probably definitely still motivated to do that trade. They need another elite scorer next to Cade.

I think they would trade him for a promising forward or a 5 that provides rim protection and does the dirty work.

The biggest issue for the teams that have been mentioned is that most of them would be offering guards back or bad contracts. The Bulls need size and rebounding. Over the summer is when a deal could have been made imo because I really think they wanted to retain DeMar.

Now with him back looking like a top ten efficient scorer again Bulls regain some leverage again.

He looks a lot better next to a legit playmaker.

But what's the end game here?

He's 29 and y'all aren't a legit playoff team, so y'all essentially spinning around the block with nobody to shoot at.

Players waive trade kickers all the time to help facilitate deals, so that wouldn't necessarily stop him from being moved if all parties really wanted to.
