their effects arent the same. one was a room with accelerated time for training. the other was a macrocosm that was altered by external forces. its the diffrerence between vegeta blowing the room up, and vegeta fighting someone so hard that somehow saiyans thoughout the multiverse have a better standing in their respective universes

yall think "a telepath" in DBZ is equal to the shyt Professor X is capable of. this is the problem. Professor X is a beyond omega level telepath. Goku wouldn't just will his way past shyt. Professor has powers like he can mind-wipe Goku. He could turn Goku into a vegetable. He could shut off Goku powers. Again people saying Goku has will power is some bullshyt. It wouldn't tho. A super saiyan 2 level Vegeta resisted babidis mind control, and they have God ki now which is is at least on Phoenix level powers.

It's been shown that Prof X is one of the most capable psychics on earth, not the best. In any case, there are many types he has trouble with: those with multiple personalities, scrambled minds, those surrounded by energy or currents, minerals and disturbed minds.
I say that to say, the transformation of any saiyan would give great pause to Xavier's powers. They emit an energy surrounding them disturbing the forces around them. Their power is destructive, healing and otherworldly, all dichotomies of opposition that any telepath would have trouble with.
It is not a one way street as you've described. Goku and some of the cast members have experience communicating through telepathy, some galaxies away too.
I ask you then, would Storm lose to Xavier?
