 Tell Yvette that. America paying for a problem they created when it's in debt and has been cutting a lot of social programs. A lot of white capital is made off of black subjugation. Socialist asking capitalists to bail them out haha.

90% percent of the wealth in this country is in the white hands blacks have only 2.6% of the wealth in this country is in White hands. Essentially we still in slavery economically speaking so if the government doesn't step in niggga and toast straight up and down.

nah, jamaicans out here dont play that inclusive shyt. they pretty much stick to their own.

i never see jamaicans out here fighting for other groups causes like we do. for example, we have black ppl right now that will rip your throat out if you're against illegal immigration.
This is literally untrue.

Literally.

You don't know any Jamaicans to say this shyt.

kill yourself.

I think she believes that black politics or blacks being involved in politics is the true answer.

Yeah she does...but again...what sense does that make?

The country harmed black people with the support of government/politics. Why would it turn around and help elevate us?

If it elevates us, how many cacs would we surpass and how would they take that? I can answer that: They would burn this bytch down before the government intentionally elevates black people to evenground.

We need that same resolve that we'll burn this bytch down if we don't get our piece.

So blacks in politics won't do jack shyt for us, as they would never hold any keys.

If this is the type of rhetoric she is conjuring up from the people she seems like a pawn.

How can she separate the AA experience from that of South Africa? And others alike. People think Africans were standing at the shores waving the ships goodbye when slavery occurred. Africans were transported across the continent, reshuffled into makeshift countries and forced to live side by side with people that spoke totally different languages and had totally different customs.
U only have to look at the Bantu language to see the disruption of Africa. Then look at the evil that went on in the Congo or Jamaica to see if it was that different to America.

The only difference I see is what Africans were being used for, on the continent it was diamond and gold, in the islands it was sugar and america was cotton. She just lazy.

Yvette Carnell believes that black (descendants of American slaves) politics must be in order BEFORE black businesses or anything else can be effective. Period. She often goes unhinged and to extremes with her tribalism and rhetoric of TV shows like The Cosby Show and Insecure, but in essence, she sincerely believes that the government either through reparations or laws must force the issue of those black people affected by histories of American Slavery and Jim Crow. It makes sense but it's just not realistic :yeshrug:

While I agree, this has very little to do with the video in the OP.

nothing wrong with acknowledging that people of african descent are not all the same and dont all have the same agenda. obama was problematic on that front. i fear we are about to get fed kamala harris for 2020 and we might get fooled again by people with some brown skin but no real loyalty to our agenda.

Here is something you're forgetting. the government also ended slavery and Jim Crow segregation. At the end of a gun at that. So if the government ended slavery and segregation it could also have a hand and totally changing the economic out comes for black Americans.

Keep in mind the government has came through for black people before. It gave black people affirmative action and ended Jim Crow the ultimately ended slavery as well so...

You got to be joking! None of us have ever been to South Africa while they might be some parallels but nothing like South African we're not Continental Africans struggle with a continental problem. We are wholesale products of slavery and Jim Crow that is our experience PERIOD. Our issue is with the American government first and foremost because they facilitated all these things happening to us It's not about a big old Kumbaya.

:hhh:

if youre waiting for the government to do something substantial for black people then you might as well just give up now
