difficult part about this story is that he should’ve started a search party the next day if she didn’t return.

him coming home without her (if he supposedly cared) is pretty damning without a huge concerted effort to find her while they were out :francis:
Dude sounds like a psychopath like whattttt :mindblown:

They’re doing the whole country in a van thing everyone seems to be doing now because of covid but from like 2016-2020 they was hitting countries all over the world. They’re a little annoying(Kara) but they’re naturals at it. I like seeing the new countries they go to and the different the activities they embark:yeshrug:

Checking it out now Bro. Thank you

If he's smart this is exactly what his story is or some version of it...she left and he has no idea what happened to her or where she is. The only problem tho is you don't really want to cooperate with the cops because thats how they catch you...you give them the only info/evidence they didn't and wouldn't have had if not for you talking. So you admit she was with you then they want to know where exactly yall was at. Why? So they'll at least know where to start searching for her body/evidence.

yeah it’s tricky

I wouldn't be surprised if she threatened to kill herself and he just dipped anyways. Reading the aforementioned tweet as well as this article makes me a bit more sympathetic towards the dude, although he still could've done it. From the sound of things, she was losing it and he might have reached his breaking point with her when the police got involved. The one part that seems suspect is that when the police told them to separate, he got a hotel and she got the van, so how does he end up at home with the van and without her exactly? Another part that looks sus is that the article said that she was concerned he was going to leave her in Moab (which he ended up doing), so perhaps she wasn't as mentally detached from reality as it seems.

In general tho, the idea of two people with a redacted mental illness doing a cross-country trip while skipping their meds is a recipe for disaster and irresponsible AF.
