She's not funny. Trying a little too hard to be like Jenna Marbles. (I notice that a lot with white female youtubers). However, she did have good points. Can't say I disagree with her.

tbh, When I first heard of body positivity, I imagined amputees, breast cancer survivors, burn victims, etc to be the face of that term. Those who have physical disability or something happened to their bodies and came out on top...But instead...we get morbidly obese people.

No one has to accept your looks or give you their time of the day and vice versa.
(I know, I shouldn't be talking since I'm fat but tell me I'm lying)

I know lots of "fat" ppl that are very healthy, play sports, are very active. but just like to eat alot. I don't consider those ppl a problem.

Its those obese sedentary ppl that are the problem. They need to make lifestyle changes and make less excuses.

yea but what if that person was in your family though?
Its not just about ppl you don't know, we all know obese ppl...they are everywhere. Their numbers are growing and its becoming an epidemic.

That's the problem with America now. We've got to make the mediocre and unhealthy feel like champions too. Someone being 'fat shamed' could save their life. One shouldn't be mean about it and ridicule the overweight, but to act like we need to pretend they are living a healthy and satisfactory lifestyle when a ton of problems come with carrying around a ton of extra weight is insane.

There is a double standard when it comes to judging men but I also understand that shaming a group of individuals for certain traits or behaviours never leads to any constructive change in the targeted group.

There are more effective ways to motivate individuals to loose weight. You can point out things that need to be changed without alienating people and boosting your own ego.

Keep it G, this never works. All it does is enable people to make excuses. People who say things nicely and try to be considerate are labeled passive
aggressive so fukk feelings, serve them raw. The bolded is just what butthurt people say to deflect.
