Finisher spamming

Finishers and signatures not being called what they are (“THERE IT IS!!”)

Not having a mid card division

shytty themes

50/50 predictable booking/matches. You don’t have to have people facing each other every week. Simple promos, backstage attacks, etc can more than advance storylines.

Commentary that kills a match and/or kills characters. Ascension was brought up and eviscerated on commentary. Cole has this habit of making stuff that is supposed to be taken seriously seem weak. How are you supposed to take something serious as a viewer when their own product makes it a joke?

-Moves that used to be finishers are "body slam" status (Canadian destroyer)
-people having too many matches that all follow the same basic 49/51 booking. Sometimes the winner should look strong and the loser should look weak. it shouldn't always be dead even.
-overly organized fan chants. (England :stopitslime:) yall not even watching the match. :hhh:
-lack of characters. Some catchphrases and a pose is not a character, and this isn't about just WWE.
-title match having zero storyline "hey you got the belt let's fight" type of shyt.
-whatever a companies "wrestlemania" type of event having matches based on "well it's the big event and I want a spot on the card" feuds. I think WWE did a slightly better job on WM36 compared to recent years on this. This years mania had at least some matches with a plot to them or some kind of personal buildup.

I hate when it's too obvious that one of the wrestlers is leaning on the ropes waiting for his opponent to clothesline him out of the ring... that shyt is so wack.

I hate that move where they're on the apron, sidestep an attempt to knock them off the apron then do a high kick to the person's face. It was cool when I would only see Kofi doing that shyt but it's in way too many people's movesets now.

In general, wrestlers need to try to do moves and combos that you don't see everyone else doing.... I recently saw Matt Riddle vs Roderick Strong and it was dope cause they weren't doing any of the usual shyt, they were literally just rolling jiu jitsu for like 5 minutes to start the match.

-When a ref can't take a measly shove without being out for 10 minutes. Why does the company keep hiring these frail muthafukkas? :hhh:

-Interference that conveniently blinds a ref's peripheral vision and hearing.

-Chair shots to the back. Look, I understand why they don't go for the face anymore, but the former is so unrealistic for one, and so incredibly unconvincing from a lot of wrestlers today. They should just be done with it.

-Dives for the sake of dives; no matter the match, situation, or wrestler in question that does it.

-Cheap, fake looking sets. This is fine in moderation, but it's so frequent and the presentation always make it looks so goddamn fake.

-Storylines and situations that throw away all logic or continunity - insulting the viewers intelligence. Same goes for the wrestlers decision making.

-This is more recently, but announcing every flipping thing that about to happen. Stop announcing stuff like Cena's returning to Smackdown. It ruins the spontaneous feel that wrestling used to have like anything could happen.

There's probably more, but that's what I can think on the top of my head.

-Everyone standing around waiting for someone to dive off the ropes (just hide them off camera :martin:)
-Finishers no longer being protected as much. Stop having people kick out finishers 2 or more times a match (Looking at you NXT )

-People popping right up after a big spot like its nothing (:ufdup:Rey Fenix)

-Champions not being on the show every week. (at the very least defending their title every 30 days)
-People jumping brands with no explanation (Shayna mostly)
-Tower of Doom spot in every multi-person match.
-People obviously slowing down when they climb a ladder due to a person either being slow to hit the spot or the person climbing was too fast
-Stables not having women in them (Britt Baker in the Inner Circle seems like a no brainier)
