gotta feel safe in the mansion, dig
especially when they come thru for ya man shindig

Nas is Nas....but droog is def wittier....shyt u can read the article and dude would rather compare himself to big L and G rap instead of Nas because of his love for punchlines.....dude had some crazy bars on the EP....and i love how he throws in those punchlines without using a "punchline flow"...those bars just mesh and flow perfectly with the shyt he's saying without coming off like he's trying too hard...

damn shame he was born with similar vocals to esco because it's gonna plague his career just like action bronson and ghostface....but if he does what bronson does and carve his own lane while putting out crack like he's been doing he'll be fine....

we need a droog and elzhi record
The nerve of u guys...

He is wittier really?

Let's see how that career go we can up this t
Nas or not dude is fukking dope
About as dope as a dope cover band

Nas is my personal GOAT, but I like Droog's music too. Although, one does have to wonder, considering how similar his verbiage, flow, and cadence is to Nas, are we fukkin with Droog's music because he's that dope? Or are we as Nas stans suffering through a draught from a lack of material coming from Nas in recent times? Are we thirsting for new Nas music so bad that we'll settle for Droog? Just thinking out loud. I dig Droog's music regardless. Boom bap, samples, scratching along with a nice verbialist has been lacking for quite a long time.

My whole issue with Droog now is not that he sounds like Nas but the fact that in the New Yorker he said he "respects Nas" but didnt emulate his style after him. I mean its like when Kobe would say he loved Jordan but he patterned his game after Magic. Like come on fam, who you fooling? You studied your idol to the T and emulated his style, thats cool. Just keep it 100.

What's worse is how he acts surprised that this whole Nas thing came about as if he didn't do anything to stoke the flame.

I hope ur Joking :russ:
People believe what they want to believe... Honestly Droog's dug himself a hole, his next project got to be great and got to not sound like nas. Every dope artist probably has a clone phase, but they just got to stop cloning by the time they release music to the public. Nas was a kool g rap clone, Eminem was an AZ clone, etc
