I was reading about that. they started production in late 2019 and stopped in march 2020 cuz of covid. Then they resumed production in Oct 2020 and wrapped it in late november 2020. thats why they are mentioning covid now.

No doubt...but then the lady took her mask off when she was in the room with judge having the conversation. It just seemed weird that only she and the stenographer had masks on throughout the entire show.

Also, honest question - is it normal for a judge to get out of their seat and address the courtroom with a lecture like he has done a couple times in this show now?

Instead she just allowed the defense to paint it as Baxter “randomly” fought with a gang member and since he did that the gang had a target on him. She should’ve made sure the jury saw the more likely scenario: Baxter didn’t like this Desire gang, curb stomped one and believed another one (Kofi) killed his brother so he killed him in retaliation.

They might not know. They just think it was a racist attack rather than a gang fight. Neither gang brought up the existence of the other gang to the courts, I guess.

I’m confused, who is they and what don’t you think they knew?

Surely the prosecutor knew both the victims were gang members. And even if she didn’t know before that day, she certainly knew when the defense attorney pointed it out in court.

And the defense attorney needing Cranston to point out the gang tattoo to enlighten him that dude was a gang member was silly too. That attorney defended Baxter in the curb stomp trial. He supposed to be a high priced lawyer but didn’t know dude was in a gang? :comeon:
