That last one explained by the fact that the attack took place as part of the war between the Desire gang and the Baxter gang.

Yea, but why didn’t the prosecutor point that out?

Instead she just allowed the defense to paint it as Baxter “randomly” fought with a gang member and since he did that the gang had a target on him. She should’ve made sure the jury saw the more likely scenario: Baxter didn’t like this Desire gang, curb stomped one and believed another one (Kofi) killed his brother so he killed him in retaliation.

I got a feeling they won’t even resolve this shyt this season and they’re gonna try to stretch important plot points to another season.

lastly, how the fukk is nobody bringing up that the prison covered up Kofi’s murder?!? Thats the most obvious thing to discuss in the trial

Its only one season.

But I am disturbed at the only characters that are suffering being black.

If Carmen Ejogo takes a major L because of this, I may stop watching right then and there.

as weird and random as it may seem, i feel like it will come down to her because she's seen pics and knows the entire story..........so it seems like judge is about to ruin her life for it in the next episode when she becomes a threat.
