I thought that was a bit over the top, like something you'd see in a 90's cop show.

It was a caricature of all the things they said about "dangerous black men" in the 90s. Them niiggas was literally grabbing their crotches as they approached the dude. It was like they are tryna cram every black stereotype in just to drive home the point. The irony is that in the real world white people are safer in the hood than black people. Ain't nobody in their right mind touching a hair on a white persons head.

This episode had the most uncomfortable family dinner scene since "Succession".

This show should be called white privilege.
Everything dealing with black folks shows they're not protected, seen, or cared about unless they can do white people bidding.
And so much of what we see is true. From the opening scene of the series to the final scene of this last episode. Black folks are done dirty at the hands of white folks through the whole system. Used by white mob, used by police, used by the court system. Im interested to see how the brotha gon get used if he becomes mayor.

Its infuriating to watch but it shows the reality of black folk getting used, abused, and railroaded while white folk go on about their life eating fancy shrimp dinners and getting mad that their exotic bird won't fly out its cage
