Yoooo...this a good ass show :ohhh:
Folks acting they ass off. That kitchen scene between father and son :wow:
That cemetery scene was dope too.

So many things are connected that you gotta pay attention the small little things and scenes . I didn't know that was his teacher he was smashing. I missed that part earlier.

That entire final scene I had the :lupe: soon as the c.o. came to take him to the infirmary

Next week gon be :banderas:

No Whammies!!
So, they HAAAAAAAAAD to have the "menacing looking black thugs" to scare the white boy. :comeon: Why was he in a black neighborhood to hit a white dude. It just seems like this show is going to paint black people in a bad light throughout. smh. :snoop:

EDIT: His dog is named Django. Really. :comeon:

Don't know if you watched past the pilot, but the issues you are talking about seem to be one of the main points of the show. They're really hammering you over the head with the idea that certain people are able to get away with things that certain other people :mjpls:can't.

I admit I had to watch the 2nd episode twice to pick up on the way the judge was intentionally having that conversation in the diner in order to mess with the timeline in case his son needed an alibi in the future.

Yeah, I turned it off early. I just hate seeing black people represented at our low point. Especially when they juxtapose us to everyone else at their high point. This shiit is upper-class white communities juxtaposed against lower class black communities. Dude put up a memorial for his mom and nikkas approached his car like the end of training day. Niiggas dont be moving like that. :dahell:

Third episode was a lot better than the second, partially because of my own emotions towards seeing a black kid get used and abused by the system. shyt is getting deeper by the second.

You can already see that the Judge's son is less worthy of walking free than Kofi. They're pulling an interesting trick. At first they lead you to believe that Kofi's role is just to be an anonymous victim of an unfair world. But then at the end of the third episode they hint that he's going to be an actual character with an actual story.
