I actually think his dad is more unlikable at this point.
Lawyer baby probably the only likeable person to me at this point.
She seems like a genuine person.
Which is wack, cause her ass probably gonna be brought down with these dummies.

The son is so hard to like I think it messes up the show since everything that’s going on is to protect him.

i think that's part of the point the show trying to make. In reality he's not a bad kid. He's the only one trying to do the right thing, he feels guilty about both hitting the kid and Kofi's outcome. He's trying to see and treat Kofi as a person while everyone else just sees him as a problem that needs to go away.
I think where he pisses people off is that he's a recipient of white privilege whether he likes it or not. He is protected just because of where he's from, his last name, his skin color (just like the Baxter son in jail). And I think that infuriates half the people cause he's getting away with the crime and cover up and I think he infuriates the other half of people cause he's routinely about to fukk up the cover up.

Just my 2 cents :ld:

Cot damn episode 4 took the wind out of my sails :wow:

I need the Baxters and Adam gone :mjcry:

As a dad, I totally understand everything the judge is doing for his kid. His fukking kid is mad at him for the shyt he's doing. At this point he can't even let the legal system have him bc it would take everyone down. Old ungrateful b*stard of a kid.....fukking disgusting

Adam is hated because of his fukked up ungrateful attitude, not because of his privilege.

As @gldnone913 put it …

I’m only on episode 3 but can someone explain to me why it would be so terrible if the framed boy plead not guilty?

like why is the gang he’s in threatening his family if he doesn’t take that murder charge??

He's ungrateful cause he wants to do the right thing while everyone else covers up his mistakes.
Like I said
I think that infuriates half the people cause he's getting away with the crime and cover up and I think he infuriates the other half of people cause he's routinely about to fukk up the cover up.
And the whole entire show is about showing white privilege

If he pleads guilty, the story goes away.
If he fights in court, then the connection between the Desire Crew, Clay Davis, and Judge Bryan Cranston is in danger of getting revealed.

I'm getting the impression that this probably isn't the first time the Judge used his connections to Clay Davis to indirectly get stuff done through the Desire Crew. Its not that he's "breaking bad"...its that he has been corrupt on some level the whole time but the show hid it from the audience and is slowly revealing it a little at a time.
