godfather 2, godfather 1, goodfellas, good will hunting, saving private ryan are my 5 favorite films of all time

godfather 2 is just another world of filmmaking and so is godfather 1.

Yeah maybe Olympus doesn't need to be on the list...I stand by the others. They're just my favorites, doesn't mean they're the best... and just to throw a couple oldies in there: Casa Blanca and Its a Wonderful Life.

Citizen Kane wasn't as engaging to me as people seem to believe it is, but I really enjoy the other two and have seen them both several times.

I knew after watching There Will Be Blood, that this is probably the best film Ive ever seen.....hasnt happened since anyways

The opening was perfect. The pacing, the attention-to-detail, the rawness of the characters with the setting, the acting. Its a moral mindfukk and captures greed better than anything else I've seen. Johnny Greenwood score was on point.

It has yet to be topped imo


Ive also watched Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Godfather I and II, The Shining more often than anything since childhood, so I give a shout to them

Only saw 1 person mention this this movie shyts on like 90% of the crappy movies posted in this thread......i don't know if i can really take some of ya'll opinions seriously now knowing what movies you really love DeNiro's directorial debut...quotables for days, life lessons, entertaining from start to finish this move is fukk all that popcorn special effects/CGI most of the leads in some of the movies listed couldn't carry a movie like this...pay homage

Just watched that 3 hour piff bomb this morning . Cant wait to watch part 2 and 3 later on tonight. Might be my favorite movie of alltime already.
