Honestly, if I'm in a relationship my woman, it wouldnt feel right to have her paying rent and utilities. As a man, it just doesnt feel right. However, she would be buying all the things needed for the house, including groceries. Furthermore, she would be cooking and cleaning.

A question for the folks in this thread though: what if you and your significant other was splitting the rent, and then this person lost their job? What would you do?

thats only a problem if you can't afford it on your own, if they lost their job they should be getting unemployment until they find something else
