i think Jamal playing so badly so far has given the Lakers the edge in these games, not to mention the FT disparity.
Jamal had like 6 points after 3 quarters in G2. That game-winner saved him, but It's not talked about enough how bad he's been in the playoffs so far
Shiiid I've talked about it. He's a bit of an enigma bc he's a top 30'ish player who gets much more aggressive in the playoffs (also goes from 32mpg to 40mpg). So it becomes a glass half full thing: yea he hit the game winner and made big shots late but him being so trash from jump and forcing shyt is partly why they got down 20 to begin with.
It's also why i don't see Denver as a runaway favorite for the title just yet. Down double digits in g1 but came back and handled business? Cool... But down even worse in game 2 and needing not just flawless execution but some divine intervention to snatch game 2? Hmm. If they smack LAL from jump in g3, then it's much ado about nothing. Otherwise they're allowing bad habits to fester.
