I was just thinking this a few days ago. Law doesn't seem like it's all cracked up to be. Just because dude got a Law degree doesn't mean he gone be on some Johnnie Crochan shyt.

If I'm going in justice system id probably be a judge. Sounds like a guaranteed career with hella bank

Huge demand means they can be picky and superficial. Pedigree (reputation of schools and employer) becomes more important than whether or not you can just do the job.

Tech seems to be more egalitarian. If you have the skills and you can present that skill base in the way that they want, you can get in.

He went into law because he couldn't do anything with the finance degree. Probably also because of low gpa, which led to lack of internships, which led to lack of good full time offers. Or he went to a non-target undergrad and couldn't finesse into a position.

With that finance degree he should have been working in investment banking. There is no point in going to law because finance people make par if not more than law folks.

So there is really no incentive to get a JD with a finance degree unless the JD was in a joint MBA program. Typical track is finance then MBA. Or finance then MBA/JD.

The fact that he went solely JD meant that shyt wasn't jumping off for him and he needed to pivot.

And to be honest, law and finance are two very superficial industries because they are the most sought after. They are name brand whores. Superficially, if Southern Law was the best he could do, then it means his resume and academic history wasn't really shyt. I mean he couldn't even do a Howard Law.

The bright side is it look like his daddy owns a law firm and that's where he is working. So it don't matter in the long run.
I disagree. I sense he went to Law School for his father and he had no real interest in it hence why he suffered academically for it. His I.G and bio gives to speculation he wanted to be in Business & Fashion and law school was forced on him.

nobody like self aggrandizement :yeshrug:(especially combined with calling out hypocrisy, which people like even less)

And you gotta be rich AF or charismatic AF to pull it off with women.

Huge elements of truth in what he said however.

One twitter brehhette said "Ive met tons of black men like this and they delay settling down because they know that they are desirable among black women and play the field"

bytch, DUH :mjlol:

You really think nikkas spent tons of time, blood, sweat and tears to not enjoy the fruits of labor?

You buy the stock when its at its most valuable....Men are able to regain additional value (outside of looks and charisma) by attaining stability and thus are attractive to perspective buyers....Why should they cash out so soon?

No different than when a woman is in her biological prime is when shes on the dikk carousel and is "finding herself and figuring out what she wants:troll:"

I'd rather sell crack cocaine than attend Southern University Law Center :unimpressed:
I know this nikka too - I met him last year at a conference along with some of his fine ass classmates :mjlol:

Dumb people do dumb shyt and stunt all the time, but this guy who actually did something positive with his life gets shytted on :francis:
He hasn't actually *done* anything yet. He has the potential to do positive things though.
At least he passed the bar, I know cats who are still trying to make in the rap game at 40 something
I don't think he'd passed the bar when he made this sassy post.
yeah thats some "you're too uppity" shyt

doesnt matter what his grade was, he got the keys to the ferrari
No Ferrari yet :mjlol:
Where is taking the BAR the bare minium. Most men PERIOD dont even graduate from college. Let alone make it through graduate programs.
If you graduate from law school passing the bar is the minimum to be an attorney.

He passed the bar recently. Congratulations to him
He hasn't gotten hired yet.

That Louisiana market is hard right now - hopefully, he grabs something soon.
Even better if he's in criminal defense so he stops shytting on Black men caught up in the system.

Being a judge is damn near impossible, particularly a federal judge. State judges are elected like Senators and are up every few years :mjlol:
