Americans hate when someone with more knowledge and discipline than them try to educate the masses. It's like they hate reading books above the high school level, and willing to do ANYTHING to avoid to go to a college classroom. They risk death by singing up to the military, go to trade school, sell drugs, scam, bum out.....but do anything to get a degree.

The education system trains people to HATE knowledge and pride themselves in ig orance for social clout. Thats why we have so many school shootings.
I always thought the dislike for math was weird

Like it’s too many people who lowkey intimidated by the process of learning it

Like math is probably top three most interesting subjects in school

A lot of people hate school so much, that those incel people get fed up and shoot up the damn place. They also hate knowledge too.

Math, sadly, is taught by foreigners with thick accents and a lot of people hate when letters, words, and notes are mixed up with numbers.

Math is best taught to be a number exercise, as in ZERO notes and pure numerical functions. Not even letters outside of 'x' should be used on a math equation. Once you put words and letters in a math problem, is when children lose interest in learning it.

how when majority of black ppl never went to college
I'm not talking about the majority, I'm talking about the ones who did go to college. Schools used to literally not promote trades when I was in high school. They cut out shop class, trade schools weren't at career day events. I'm not finna argue with you about what I saw. The attitude towards them are changing NOW, but back when I was young trades were looked down upon like they were for stupid people who couldn't read, write, or do math even though I probably do more math in a day than most people do in their entire careers at their jobs. Pythagorean Theorem is actually very useful to an electrician.

And maybe what could help is maybe relating math more so to a puzzle, meaning don’t equate math to work, make it seem like a puzzle

Precisely! Make it into a FUN subject you do casually. Give it a high level of satisfaction for when you finish a math problem properly.

I graduated high school in 2007, people used to look down on people who didn't go to college or pursue a degree and instead went to the military or into trades instead. They said we were stupid, now many of those same people ask me how they csn get into what I do. Also not to mention look how the news always throws out 'the uneducated' to shyt on people. Bruh I know plenty of people who went to college and graduated who don't know their left from their right, but want to act like they are geniuses or something.
Yea I get the opposite. People assume I went to college for IT and when I say no college they get weird. Like now they can't understand how I even got in.

Not my fault after all that College you still can't use Excel and Word properly.

I talked to a chic once and she kept bringing up how she didn't finish her degree and thought that she felt she needed to do more since I had my Master's. It was the weirdest convo. She literally had a job that was paying her around 70k but she thought a degree was the definition of success. I literally had to bush her for constantly bringing it up and I reminded her that I don't even need my degree for the job I'm doing. It literally is just a piece of paper with debt attached at this point lol
No it's not. Stop downplaying it. Thid is the issue with capitalism it causes people to accrue negative bias towards things that cost money if it doesnt make them any money in return. Accredited universities have general education requirements along with major courses that make people who graduate undergrad more educated on various topics in general. You're taught how to think, do research, ask good questions, etc. You end up more aware of socio-political issues, environmental issues, etc. You meet more diverse people there as well and learn to coexist with others outside of your comfrot zone. It's far from that just a piece of paper.
